Leatherette band is not removable, must engrave while still on the mug. The mug is made of stainless steel with a laserable leatherette band. Includes screw-on lid with snapping closure. The mug has a BPA free plastic coating on the inside.

To clean laserable leatherette items, you can use a damp cloth and mild soap. Rubbing alcohol will also work, especially for pen marks.
